Dogs
Growing up we always had dogs. With the exception of one little beagle puppy we couldn’t keep, we always had big doggies. Big to me is a golden retriever, a chow, a black lab and a couple mixed dog breeds / mutts. We even raised golden retriever puppies sometime around 1987. Those days are gone and now we have a daschund puppy, an italian mastiff and a wee mini rottweiler puppy. I think Lu Lu was probably the smallest puppy of her litter. She’s the black dog in the picture below. The other puppy is our italian mastiff, Mea.

Raising these 2 large breed dogs has been patience builder as well as a rewarding way to forget about cyberspace, website marketing, seo and all things my mind becomes engaged with during a normal business day. Everyday when I come home these beasts which I call my girlies bring so much happyness to me. All they want is to make me happy and to give me a big fat lick when I get home from work, or have some time to give them attention. So when its time to spend some time with the dogs, its always enjoy letting go of everything except what the dogs are looking for, love.
Recently I’ve been reading a lot about how to raise large breed dogs and more specifically ~ the italian mastiff. A breed of canine that takes a lot time, energy and patience to raise. Along the way I’ve taken some notes on how to get a long with these lovely beasts. Recent posts relating to Dogs:

Two of my favorite dogs websites, this is a great place to find dog breeders - and this is an excellent resource if you’re looking to find more information about Cane Corso Puppies.
