$5.00 a Gallon
For the first time ever… I had to pay $3.00 a gallon for my gas today. As I live in Portland, Oregon – we don’t have to pump our own gas. I asked the Gas Attendant how long has it been $3.00 a gallon ? He replied and said about a week now. Following that up by saying he heard that this summer gas is expected to hit $3.50 a gallon. Damn. I remember when gas was like $.60 cents a gallon. Driving RVs in Oregon, or anywhere really – must be really expensive. We probably won’t be making that roadtrip in the motor home anytime soon. In the meantime our RV is going be staying in the RV Garage, at least for the winter.
With all this in mind… Is it un-realistic to believe that gas could be $5.00 a gallon by Christmas ?
This really makes me think hard about buying a Hybrid Vehicle. After some consideration I’ve realized that I need a vehicle that I can drive in the snow or ice. So far I’ve narrowed it down to 3 vehicles…. Check them out-
