Importing Delicious
Who would want to move away from the best bookmarking system in the world? Delicious formerly del.icio.us, is a brilliant yet simple social bookmarking website where you can share links. Chances are if you’re here reading this you already know social bookmarking websites are springing up all over the place. You also probably already know how they effect search engine optimization efforts (SEO) and how search engines read through these social bookmarks. How important are they? We could debate on that one all day or you simply may know/believe they have little or no effect on a websites search engine ranking.
Either way, my delicious bookmark list is years old and I’m not ready to move away from it. At the same time Delicious is not as fun as Diigo, Blinklist or as Magnolia was. Granted delicious is fast, clean, easy and simple, but there are other communities out there like Faves.com or Mister-Wong that have more features to offer their users.
So, I’ve decided to branch out a bit. Thus far, this is the list I’ve been able to form of social bookmarking websites that you can import your Delicious bookmarks into:
- Diigo.com
- Spurl.net
- BuddyMarks.com
- Linkagogo.com
- Jumptags.com
- Mister-Wong.com
- MyLinkVault.com
- Folkd.com
Know of any others?

Thanks for the list of great bookmarking sites.
