The Google Dance of April 2006
Today, April 7th – 2006 – I noticed my websites have been shuffled again by Google. Theres a couple keywords I’m ranked for in the Top 3 of 200,000,000 million results. My better judgement tells me it would be wise not to list the words I’m targeting here in this blog so I’ll just describe what has happened.
After being ranked on the first page, in the top 10 or top 3 for the last several years I’ve been shuffled. Damn it! I’ve known for about a year now a couple of my competitors are using black hat techniques to out rank the position(s) we have held for so long. My only thought right now is that we haven’t been putting as much energy into it as them. The good thing is at least I know what needs to be done to kick those bastards from the East Coast out of that top spot.
My new plan for SEO is to go about 80% which is about 50% more than what we were giving {as far as energy is considered} for this 1 paticular topic. The other thought is, if you can’t beat them: join them. Red Alkemi, based in India is the staff responsible for link development for my major competitor. I’m thinking an SEO company from the USA has hired them to build link popularity. While I use the Ancient Web Fu Style of SEO, their technique is the twisted 3 way link monkey style that was started after Google manipulaters insisted that reciprocal linking is a counter productive measure when trying to position the site you are attempting to position.
